What Is It?
Collaborative export is a consortium of companies in the same sector with the aim of promoting and/or exporting the same product to a target market.
Why?
If "Unity is strength," as the famous saying goes, it's because collaborative export allows, among other things, the sharing of experiences and resources, pooling costs, and marketing efforts. In essence, collaborative export brings together several companies eager to explore new horizons around a product or action, benefiting from the momentum of the group, and, if necessary, sharing a distribution network.
With Whom?
Exporters
It's important to bring together multiple stakeholders operating at different levels of the value chain to provide coherence and scope to the project, which target partners will appreciate. While the concept of complementarity among actors in the industry is central to the model, it's not uncommon for competitors to collectively benefit from the collective effort.
Project Leaders
These are the country experts—companies specializing in international support like Expandys—who offer to support the group of companies in their commercial development in the targeted area. Acting as true coaches, project leaders assist companies with their prospecting and negotiation challenges.
